Hideshi Acupuncture is operated by Hideshi Takesako, AHPRA-registered Chinese Medicine practitioner (registration CMR0001731842), trading as Hideshi Takesako, ABN 43580226951, located at 27 Poolwood Road, Kewarra Beach QLD 4879.

2. What information we collect

• When you visit this website: anonymous usage data via the analytics tools described in section 3 below. No personally identifying information — such as your name or contact details — is collected through analytics.
• When you call or text 0405 493 575: your name, your contact number (visible on your message) and any health information you choose to share.
• During treatment: clinical notes including health history, diagnoses, treatments provided and outcomes, recorded as required by AHPRA and Queensland Health.

3. Analytics and cookies

This site uses the following analytics tools. None of them collect your name, phone number, health information or any other personal details you may provide when contacting us.

• Google Analytics 4 — provided by Google LLC. Sets cookies and collects anonymous usage data including pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you arrived at the site. This data is processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. We use it to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
• Vercel Web Analytics — cookieless, aggregate measurement of page traffic. No individual visitors are tracked.
• Vercel Speed Insights — aggregate measurement of site performance (Core Web Vitals) from real visitors. No personally identifying data is collected.

5. How long we keep it

Per AHPRA and Queensland Health requirements, clinical records are typically retained for seven years from your last visit (longer for patients who were minors at the time of treatment; those records are kept until the patient is 25).

6. Who we share it with

We do not share your information with third parties, except:

• Medicare or your private health fund, only if you ask us to process a claim on your behalf
• Your GP or another health practitioner, only with your written permission
• AHPRA, the courts, the police or insurers, only if legally required
